Comparison

Reports+ vs Peekd an honest Instagram tracker comparison

Searching for Reports+ usually means two questions: is it worth paying for, and is there something better for what you actually want to see? This page compares Reports+ with Peekd, the tracker we build. The short difference: Reports+ analyzes your own Instagram account after you sign in with it. Peekd tracks any public account, including other people’s, from the username alone, with no Instagram login.

Several App Store apps share almost the same name, such as “Reports+ Followers Unfollowers” by Reports+ LLC. This page is about Reports+ Unfollowers Follower by Deep Vision Labs, the big one. Our facts come from its App Store listing, privacy policy, terms and about a hundred user reviews, checked in October 2026. We are not affiliated with Reports+ or with Instagram.

The short answer

Pick Reports+ if you want engagement analytics for your own profile on an iPhone: ghost followers, top followers, story interactions and post performance, and you are comfortable signing in with your Instagram account.

Pick Peekd if what you really want to know is what someone else is doing: who your partner, your ex or a rival account started following this week, who they dropped, and when it happened. Peekd gives you a dated timeline, alerts when the account changes, and anonymous viewing of public stories, on the web, iPhone and Android. You never hand over a password, and the free plan covers one tracked account.

What Peekd does that Reports+ doesn’t

It watches other people’s accounts, not only yours

Reports+ is built around the account you log in with: its follower lists and change reports are about you. Peekd works the other way around. You type in a public username, Peekd saves a snapshot of who that account follows and who follows it, and then re-checks on a schedule.

Say your boyfriend’s account follows 640 people. On Tuesday it follows 641. Instagram won’t tell you who the new one is, and its following list isn’t reliably sorted by date. Peekd shows you the exact account and the day it appeared. More in how to see who someone recently followed.

A dated history plus alerts

One recurring complaint in Reports+ reviews is that you see that someone unfollowed, but not when. Peekd timestamps every change from the moment tracking starts and can alert you as it happens, so you aren’t opening an app every day to compare lists. It can’t show what happened before you began tracking, and no tool honestly can.

No password, no linked account

Because Peekd only reads public profiles, there is nothing to connect. Your own account isn’t involved, the person you track gets no notification, and there is no session for Instagram to flag. Details are on how Peekd works.

Anonymous story viewing in the same app

Watch a public account’s stories without appearing in its viewer list, next to its follow timeline. For stories only, our free Instagram story viewer needs no sign-up.

Android and the web, too

We found no Google Play version of Reports+ from Deep Vision Labs. Peekd runs in any browser at app.peekdapp.com and on iPhone and Android, with one account.

Where Reports+ is good

  • Analytics about your own audience. Ghost followers, your most engaged followers, post performance and story interactions are things Peekd doesn’t do at all.
  • Housekeeping for your account. Lists of accounts you don’t follow back, deleted or deactivated followers and mutuals are handy if you want to clean up who you follow.
  • Multiple accounts. You can manage up to four of your own accounts.

Credit too for honesty: the listing says its profile interactions feature doesn’t reveal specific profile viewers. Instagram doesn’t share that data, as we explain in who viewed my Instagram profile.

Is Reports+ safe? Login, data and reviews

The login. Reports+ needs you to sign in with the Instagram account you want analyzed. Its privacy policy says this happens through Instagram’s own web login inside the app, that your username and password are typed on Instagram’s site, and that the app does not collect your credentials. It also says the account data it reads is stored only on your device. The policy doesn’t explain how that data is fetched from Instagram.

The privacy label. On the App Store, the developer reports that identifiers and usage data may be used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Its privacy policy names Google Ads, Firebase, Mixpanel and Adapty as service providers.

What reviewers say. We read about a hundred recent and “most helpful” US reviews. The most common complaint, from 2022 through September 2026, is being logged out of Instagram, asked to re-verify, or temporarily locked after connecting the app. Other repeat themes: refreshes that take ten minutes or fail with “try again later”, features behind the paywall, and doubts about whether story and interaction numbers are accurate. Plenty of reviewers are happy, mostly with the not-following-back list. These are individual reports, not our tests.

The general point applies to every app that works inside your logged-in session, not only this one: when a third-party tool reads your account, Instagram may see it as unusual activity and ask you to verify, which is what those reviews describe. Reports+ itself doesn’t mention this risk in its listing. If your account matters to you, weigh that before linking it to any tracker. Our guide to Instagram stalker apps has a checklist.

Is Reports+ free? Pricing compared

Reports+ is a free download, but most reports sit behind “Premium Unlimited”. Its US App Store listing shows in-app purchases of $3.99, $5.99, $8.99, $9.99, $19.99 and two at $29.99. Durations aren’t labeled, but its terms say plans bill weekly, monthly or yearly, renew automatically unless cancelled 24 hours before the period ends, and are generally non-refundable. One reviewer mentions paying about $4 for a weekly plan. Prices vary by country, so check the listing first.

Peekd’s free plan tracks one public account with dated follows, unfollows and alerts, with no card needed. Paid plans add more tracked accounts. App subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple or Google account, not in the app.

Who should use which

  • You run a creator or business account and want engagement data: Reports+ (or Instagram’s own Professional dashboard, which is free).
  • You only want to know who doesn’t follow you back: you may not need an app. Our free not-following-back checker works from your Instagram data export, in your browser.
  • You want to see who someone else follows or unfollows, and when: Peekd’s Instagram follower tracker. That covers the partner, the ex, a friend group or a competitor brand. See how to see who your boyfriend follows for a walkthrough.
  • You are on Android or prefer a browser: Peekd, since Reports+ is Apple-only.

Peekd’s limits: public accounts only, no verified accounts or accounts above 10,000 followers, no history from before tracking began, and no likes, comments, DMs, close friends or profile visitors.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Reports+ safe to use?

Reports+ asks you to sign in with your Instagram account, and its privacy policy says it never collects your password and keeps account data on your device. Many App Store reviewers report being logged out or asked to re-verify by Instagram after connecting it. Weigh that before linking an account you care about.

Is Reports+ free?

The download is free, but most features need a paid plan. US in-app purchases range from $3.99 to $29.99, billed weekly, monthly or yearly according to its terms. Peekd has a free plan for one tracked account.

Does Reports+ notify the other person?

Instagram doesn’t notify people when an app reads follower lists, and Reports+ mainly analyzes your own account. Peekd works from public data only, so the person you track is never notified either.

Can Reports+ show who viewed my profile or see private accounts?

No. Its own listing says the profile interactions feature doesn’t reveal specific profile viewers. Instagram doesn’t share that data. Peekd can’t see private accounts or profile visitors either.

Why is Reports+ not working or logging me out?

Reviewers commonly describe slow refreshes, “try again later” errors and Instagram logouts after connecting. Reviewers usually connect the logouts to linking their account. A no-login tracker like Peekd avoids that, though it only covers public accounts.

Is Reports+ available on Android?

We found no Google Play version from its developer, Deep Vision Labs. Android apps with similar names are made by other companies. Peekd runs on Android, iPhone and the web.

What is the best Reports+ alternative?

For tracking someone else’s public follows with dates and alerts, without a login, Peekd. For analytics on your own account, Instagram’s free Professional dashboard is the first thing to try.
