The best Inflact alternatives: for tracking people, not brands

Inflact (inflact.com) used to be called Ingramer, a marketing toolkit that sold automated Instagram growth. Today its homepage leads with influencer discovery for brands, and the anonymous story viewer, downloader and tracker sit alongside that. Plenty of people still land on it looking for something simpler: a way to see what one particular person is doing on Instagram.

If that’s you, this page is for you. We tried Inflact’s viewer on October 12, 2026, and read its pricing page, tracker page, terms, refund policy and privacy policy. Every fact about Inflact below comes from those pages and is listed with sources in our fact sheet. Peekd is our product and we rank it first for tracking people. We are not affiliated with Inflact, Instagram or Meta.

The short answer

Use Inflact if you work for a brand or agency and need to find influencers, compare engagement and track follower growth across many accounts. That is what its paid plans are built for.

Use Peekd if you care about one person, or a few. Say you want to know whether your ex followed someone new this week. Inflact’s tracker reports follower growth, likes and comments, and we found no claim that it lists individual new follows with dates. Peekd shows exactly that: who the account started following, who it dropped, and the day it happened, with a real-time alert. It works on the web, iPhone and Android, with no Instagram login, and one account is free.

The best Inflact alternatives, ranked

1. Peekd: best for following one person’s activity

Add any public username. Peekd saves who that account follows and who follows it, checks again on a schedule, and shows new follows and unfollows with the day it first saw them. You get an alert when something changes, and you can watch public stories anonymously in the same app. Free for one account, no card. Limits: public accounts only, nothing verified or above 10,000 followers, no history from before tracking started, no likes or comments. Start with the follower tracker.

2. IGDetective: best web tracker if you also want likes and comments

No login, web only, English only. Its free plan covers one profile without follow tracking. Premium, shown at $30 a month, adds follow tracking along with likes and comments. Its methodology page says new follows can take a few days to appear. IGDetective vs Peekd.

3. Snoopreport: best for weekly reports on big accounts

Weekly or monthly reports on likes and follows, including large and verified accounts, from $4.99 a month for two accounts. No free plan, payments are non-refundable, and its FAQ says reports catch about 5% to 75% of actions. Snoopreport vs Peekd.

4. Insnoop: best free replacement for Inflact’s story viewer

Free, no login, no account, and no daily limit that we hit. Our test lookups loaded quickly with no ads. Stories and highlights only, no history. Insnoop vs Peekd.

5. AnonyIG: best free viewer for reels and posts too

Free, no login, with stories, highlights, reels and posts to view and download. Expect heavy ads and a paid “private accounts” upsell for a separate product. AnonyIG alternatives.

What Peekd does that Inflact doesn’t

Inflact measures accounts. Peekd watches relationships. That sounds abstract, so here is the difference in practice.

  • Names, not numbers. A growth chart can tell you an account gained 40 followers this week. Peekd tells you the account started following @someone on Tuesday. If you are trying to understand a person, the name is what matters.
  • Unfollows. Peekd also shows who the account stopped following, which is often the more telling change. The same idea works for your own profile with the free not-following-back checker.
  • A free plan that actually tracks. Inflact’s free tier includes zero tracked accounts. Peekd’s free plan tracks one, with alerts.
  • On your phone. Inflact has no viewer or tracker app. Peekd runs on iPhone, Android and at app.peekdapp.com.

Our guide on how to see who someone recently followed explains why Instagram doesn’t give you this on its own.

Where Inflact is good

  • Serious research tools. Influencer search, a profile analyzer with no limit on profiles, hashtag research and engagement stats. Peekd does none of that.
  • A named company. Inflact is run by Wiseway SIA, registered in Riga, Latvia. Many viewer sites name nobody.
  • No ads on our visit, and a cookie banner with a clear “Reject non-essential” button.
  • Large accounts. It covers influencers and brands well past Peekd’s 10,000-follower limit.
  • German version of the site and its story viewer, among eight languages.
  • Trustpilot score of 4.0 from 657 reviews, as of October 2026.

Is Inflact safe? What to check before paying

The current viewer, downloader and analyzer don’t ask for your Instagram password, and we found no claim of private-account access. A few things are still worth knowing:

  • Old terms. The terms of service are dated 2018, from the Ingramer era, and still say the service requires your Instagram username and password. No current product page asks for that, but never give it to any tool.
  • Conflicting prices. The pricing table shows €29 and €49 a month, while the FAQ on the same page quotes $22 and $79. Check the amount at checkout.
  • Strict refunds. Several modules are listed as non-refundable, refund requests must come within 30 days, and Inflact can decline them. Plans renew automatically.
  • Open-ended data storage. The privacy policy says personal data is processed “without any time limit”.

Our guide to Instagram stalker apps lists the general red flags. They apply to Peekd too.

Inflact pricing vs Peekd’s free plan

Inflact’s free tier gives you one profile view a day in the viewer, unlimited profile analysis and no tracked accounts. Research costs €29 a month with three tracked accounts, and Pro costs €49 with ten, about 30% less if you pay yearly. The story saver and tracker on its own starts at €7.80 a month for one profile. A $3 seven-day trial is offered for Research and Pro. These are the prices we saw from an EU connection on October 12, 2026, and yours may differ.

Peekd’s free plan tracks one public account with dated follows, unfollows, alerts and anonymous stories, no card needed. Paid plans add more accounts.

Which one should you use?

  • You run influencer campaigns: Inflact.
  • You want to know who one person follows and unfollows: Peekd.
  • You only want a free story peek with no daily limit: Insnoop, or our free story viewer.
  • You need follows on a verified or very large account: Snoopreport, since Peekd doesn’t support those.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Inflact alternative?

It depends on why you used Inflact. For tracking one person’s new follows and unfollows with dates and alerts, Peekd fits best and is free for one account. For influencer research at scale, Inflact itself is the specialist.

Is Inflact free?

Partly. The free tier includes one viewer profile a day, the profile analyzer and a few hashtag searches, but no tracked accounts. Paid plans start at €29 a month, or €7.80 for the tracker alone, as shown from the EU.

Is Inflact safe and legit?

It is run by a registered Latvian company, Wiseway SIA, and its current tools don’t ask for your Instagram login. Read the refund policy before paying: some modules are non-refundable.

Is Inflact the same as Ingramer?

Yes. Inflact’s own blog says Ingramer was renamed Inflact, and accounts and subscriptions carried over.

Does Inflact notify the person?

No. Inflact says its viewer uses proxies and needs no Instagram account, so the person doesn’t see you. Peekd also reads only public data and never contacts the account.

Can Inflact see private accounts?

No. Its viewer, downloader, analyzer and tracker all say they only work with public accounts. The same is true of Peekd.
